Fire impact fees are collected by the county on behalf of four independent districts and are due at permit issuance, not at CO. North Collier charges a flat per-unit fee on living area; the other three charge per square foot UNDER ROOF, so a garage and lanai raise them materially.

Fees Collier County does not charge
Verified absent, so you don't go looking for them.
No stormwater or drainage impact fee, and no county stormwater utility fee in unincorporated Collier — the only stormwater utility notice on the Clerk's site is the City of Naples.
No separate water/sewer 'capacity', 'system development' or 'connection' charge beyond the impact fee and meter installation.
No mobility fee, public art fee, or affordable-housing linkage fee.
No residential fire review fee — the published fire review schedules are commercial and planning only.
Trade permits are NOT bundled — the opposite of most Florida counties. The permit fee is defined as the sum of trade reviews plus inspections.
What we could not verify
These are reported as gaps rather than estimated. The total above is a floor.
Inspection count for a new single-family home is not published. The 15 shown is illustrative; fees are estimated at issuance and reconciled before CO.
Under-roof square footage drives three of four fire districts AND all four trade review fees. 2,000 sq ft is used as a floor, which understates.
State surcharges appear in no Collier document — the rates are certain from statute but the exact base Collier applies them to is unconfirmed.
Right-of-way permit fee schedule has no establishable effective date.
The county's impact fee calculator returned HTTP 406 to every request, so fee-type enumeration rests on the rate schedule and ordinance title rather than calculator internals. Note the legacy calculator's own disclaimer states water and sewer impact fees are NOT included in its output.
Future phase amounts derived only for schools and water/sewer, where published maximums allowed the derivation to be validated against a known published phase. The other seven fees were not derived.
A Business Impact Estimate for Plan Review Fees dated 6/17/2026 suggests a successor fee resolution may be pending; the county still links Resolution 2025-231 as current.
Why this number is easy to get wrong
December 1, 2026 is a hard cliff — water and sewer Phase Three adds $1,796. It is sourced only from a legal notice PDF that uses a CID font and text-extracts as pure garbage. Rendering to image was the only way to read it.
Web search surfaces the February 1, 2026 schedule as newest. That is the superseded Phase One; the current one is May 1, 2026. Publishing February's numbers understates county impact fees by $1,405.48.
Three different square-footage bases in one project: county impact fees on living area, trade reviews on 'total area', and three of four fire districts on under-roof.
collier.gov requires a full browser header set. A bare request returns a 496-byte Akamai 'Access Denied' page that a careless pipeline will happily treat as a PDF.
notices.collierclerk.com is the highest-yield source in this county and appears in no search path from the county's own fee pages. Both phase calendars came from there.

How to use this. Every figure is transcribed from an official
Collier County or Florida Statutes document, linked inline, with its effective date. No third-party
legal-code mirrors were used — in testing, one returned impact fees off by 2.4×. Built for screening
and pro-forma work; confirm with the county before you sign anything.
